The Pfalzphilharmonie Kaiserslautern, under the direction of Daniele Squeo, will perform a symphony concert featuring Avner Dorman's piece "Frozen in Time" (2007) as its main work. This virtuoso concerto for percussion and orchestra captures the characteristics of different continents, blending Indian rhythms with European music quotes and sounds from swing and jazz. The renowned Bulgarian drummer Vassilena Serafimova will be the soloist. The concert will take place on Friday, April 21 at 8 pm in the Kaiserslautern Fruchthalle.
